Here at Diamond Contractors, we offer a wide range of concrete sawing and drilling services.
Take a look through our various options and see if you can find the right service to suit your needs.
Diamond Core Drilling
Diamond drilling is a cost-effective way of forming service holes without vibration. We offer a variety of drilling equipment and core sizes. If the holes are between 10mm and 150mm in diameter, then we can use a hand-held drill. This works great in restricted access areas without sacrificing precision. Cores can be cut through brick, block work and even reinforced concrete, and all our methods are environmentally friendly.
Diamond Stitch Drilling
Stitch drilling involves drilling a series of holes that overlap each other, allowing us to cut an opening of any shape or size through surfaces of any thickness. This is an effective method for removing concrete under controlled situations and we have used this method to cut door openings, lift openings, and to reduce the length of pre-cast concrete beams. Because of the lack of vibration with this kind of drilling, it is particularly effective for delicate work.
Ring and Chain Sawing
This type of sawing is undertaken by hand-held machines and is particularly useful in restricted access areas. Unlike standard saws, which can only cut to 150mm, our hydraulic rigs can cut to a depth of 250mm. A diamond chain saw resembles a wood-cutting saw, but it is fitted with diamond segments, and it can be used to cut straight lines with right-angled corners.
Floor Sawing
Our floor saws come in a variety of shapes and sizes; we offer diesel, petrol, hydraulic and electric machines, and they range in power from 18hp to 75hp. All of this means that we can saw concrete and roadways of up to 600mm in depth. We can also provide our own water and slurry control using either a wet vacuum supply or a street sweeper.
Wire Sawing
This is a method of sawing that allows us to cut almost any large concrete or masonry structure. It is ideal for cutting and removing reinforced concrete such as bridge sections, jetties, columns or beams, particularly if the shapes are thick or awkward. The wire is kept cool and clear at all times to ensure an easy, efficient operation, and our wire sawing machines are powered by 3 phase electricity.
wALL sAWING
A wall saw is mounted on a track and can cut up to 700mm deep. Our wall saw units are remote-controlled to ensure operator safety.
Grinding
Concrete grinding should be done when uneven surfaces become a hazard or if tiled or painted floors need to be smoothed. We provide both electric and petrol floor grinding machines to suit your needs.
